Over the last six NASCAR Cup Series races, Chase Briscoe has been on a bit of a hot streak. He has an average finish of 11.8 over that span, which is 5th-best among all drivers. But that doesn't guarantee success this week. Briscoe and his #14 team have struggled to find speed at Kansas Speedway this weekend, as he was 32nd-fastest out of 36 cars in practice and then went out and qualified 31st for Sunday's race. This shouldn't be overly surprising, though, as Briscoe struggled mightily at Las Vegas back in March, which is a very similar track to Kansas. When discussing this weekend's AdventHealth 400, Chase stated, "There was definitely some progress that needed to be made. I know everyone has worked hard to do that and I hope that it shows this weekend, but this is probably a situation where we'll find out when we get there." So far, it doesn't look like much progress has been made.--Jordan McAbee
