Twins Aren't Worried About Tyler Mahle's Injury
Tyler Mahle (elbow) was removed from Thursday's contest against the Kansas City Royals after four innings of work due to posterior elbow soreness. However, it seems like the 28-year-old avoided a disaster, telling reporters post-game that "it's just inflammation" and there isn't much of a concern right now. Mahle is beginning a solid season for the Twins, posting a 3.16 ERA, 27.5% strikeout rate, 1.05 WHIP, and one win through five starts, so the club and fantasy managers will want to get him back as soon as possible. Consider him day-to-day for now.
