Tyler Mahle Injured In Thursday's Start
Tyler Mahle left Thursday's start against the Kansas City Royals after four innings of work with right posterior elbow soreness, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports. Before his exit, he held the Royals to one run with six strikeouts and no walks. Mahle's been solid in the Twins rotation, pitching to a 3.32 ERA, 25.3% strikeout rate, 5.7% walk rate, and 1.15 WHIP. For the club's and fantasy managers' sake, hopefully, this is just a minor issue, and he won't have to miss any time. Stay tuned for further updates.
