Pittsburgh Penguins center Jeff Carter potted two goals, including the game-winning marker, in Wednesday's impressive 5-2 road victory over the Avalanche. The veteran hit a power-play goal in the second period and added an even-strength tally in the third. These are Carter's first goals since Feb. 26. The 38-year-old has struggled for form and his ice time has nosedived in recent outings, with Carter even getting limited to only 6:30 of action in the previous game. However, Pittsburgh head coach Mike Sullivan got a great reaction out of Carter Wednesday night. Sitting on 11 goals and 15 assists through 68 outings, Carter is averaging a career-low 0.38 points per game this season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
