Ryan Blaney and his Team Penske did a great job in getting the Ford close enough to win on Sunday at Phoenix. However, he came up about a third of a second short. Blaney got three wide with William Byron and Kyle Larson. The No. 12 car did not have enough speed and downforce to stay with Byron. As a result, Blaney had to settle for second place on Sunday. However, it was a very good effort for the driver who started eighth and never led a single lap. Blaney was also one of only three Ford cars in the top ten on the mile-long track. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
