Colorado Avalanche defenseman Cale Makar (concussion) has declared himself healthy and will return to the lineup Saturday against Dallas. He's been dealing with concussion issues, sitting out nine of the team's last 10 games. Makar's return comes at a good time, as the Avalanche blue line has just lost Josh Manson (lower body) again. Makar will bump Samuel Girard down from the first defensive pairing and take the quarterbacking duties once again on the first power-play unit, which means a demotion for Bowen Byram. The 24-year-old star defender has recorded 13 goals and 32 assists in 46 games this season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
