Boston Bruins left wing Brad Marchand sustained a lower-body injury in Thursday's 7-1 win over Buffalo, exiting the game in the second period. He was forced off after playing for only 9:19, and Marchand completed the contest with two shots and two penalty minutes. The severity of his injury is unknown, but Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery did provide a brief update after Thursday's game. "We think it's gonna be alright. We're not positive yet," said Montgomery. Marchand is averaging exactly a point per game through 53 outings and losing him would obviously be a major blow. But his absence would be particularly painful in the team's current situation, where Montgomery has already lost Taylor Hall (lower body) and Nick Foligno (lower body) from his deck of cards.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
