It was announced earlier this week that The Beast Unleashed from Monster Brewing has joined forces with Tyler Reddick and 23XI Racing and will serve as the primary sponsor on the car for several races this season, starting with this weekend's Pala Casino 400 at Auto Club Speedway. Renold Aparicio, the VP of Monster Equity Brands at Monster Brewing, said, "We are psyched to finally unleash The Beast on the world of NASCAR -- and we believe Tyler is the man to set it loose." Reddick has made two career starts at Auto Club Speedway in his Cup Series career, finishing 11th in his rookie campaign and 24th in last year's event. It should be noted, though, that Reddick led 90 laps in last year's race at this track and won both Stages, too, before a tire problem relegated him to that midpack result. With how strong Reddick has been at other high-wear race tracks in his career--including 2nd- and 3rd-place finishes at Darlington last season--there's definitely reason for optimism with the #45 team this weekend.--Jordan McAbee
