Anze Kopitar Gets Three Points Against Carolina
Los Angeles Kings center Anze Kopitar had one of his best offensive performances of the season on Tuesday against Carolina, logging three points with a goal and two assists. He led the charge when the Kings grabbed a 4-1 lead ahead of the second intermission, but the Hurricanes suddenly came to life in the third and ended up winning the game 5-4 in overtime. Kopitar now has three three-point games for the season. It's not been a very productive year for him offensively, but a record of six goals and eight assists in 13 January appearances could be seen as a sign that the best is yet to come. He has notched 16 goals and 43 points overall in 53 games.
