Tight End Waiver Wire Pickups for Week 15: Top Free Agent Adds Include Evan Engram, Taysom Hill, Greg Dulcich, Cade Otton

taysom hill fantasy football rankings news NFL DFS lineup picks

Craig Rondinone's fantasy football tight end waiver wire pickups for Week 15 of the 2022 NFL season. His free agent TEs to add, stream, and stash off waivers.

Fantasy footballers rejoice! The bye weeks are over! We should all have full rosters to work with from here on out – unless your fantasy squad has been ravaged by injuries.

The tight end pool on waiver wires has been picked apart like a bunch of crazed shoppers at a Goodwill store. There is not much stock left on the shelves. If you need a TE for these upcoming crucial fantasy weeks, there are a chosen few who could help you, so pick wisely.

Without further ado, here are the best tight end waiver wire pickups for Week 15, starting with a veteran tight end who had the game of his career this past weekend!

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Top Tight Ends to Pickup - Week 15 Waiver Wire

Evan Engram, Jacksonville Jaguars

Engram had the game of all games on Sunday against division rival Tennessee. The Titans have not been able to cover any cold or continent this season, but the hapless effort they put out to the world while trying to cover Engram was absolutely abysmal. He ran wide open like he was Rob Gronkowski and broke tackles like he was Shannon Sharpe. Engram finished with 11 catches for 162 yards and two touchdowns, which probably clinched playoff spots for some fantasy managers lucky enough to pick him up last week.

Yet for all the accolades we can bestow upon Engram, including being the top tight end available on waiver wires this week, the fact is he only mustered 10 receptions for 56 yards and one TD in the four games prior to his fantasy explosion this Sunday. His next two games are against the Dallas Cowboys and New York Jets, who do not do fantasy favors for skilled position players. But Engram has a hot quarterback in Trevor Lawrence and should see more targets than most available TEs down the stretch, so he is numero uno on the waiver wire list.

Other Tight Ends to Consider Adding

Taysom Hill, New Orleans Saints

The multi-talented Hill should be refreshed and recharged after being on bye. He has a mouthwatering matchup against Atlanta’s 23rd-ranked run defense, a defense he had 81 rushing yards and a TD against in Week 1. And if Hill throws passes or catches passes, it is even better since the Falcons are ranked 26th against the pass.

Greg Dulcich, Denver Broncos

Dulcich does not have a resume that screams for you to pick him up, I know. He has not scored a TD in his last seven games and has either Russell Wilson or Brett Rypien throwing to him next week. Dulcich does have back-to-back eight-target outings, though, and is lining up in wide receiver-like positions on passing downs. Do not be surprised if he can give solid stats this weekend versus Arizona’s inconsistent secondary crew.

Cade Otton, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The chemistry between Tom Brady and Mike Evans might be off, but Brady and Otton have had no trouble connecting in recent weeks. The rookie tight end has been much more valuable fantasy-wise (and healthier) than Cameron Brate. Otton has 10 receptions and 15 targets over his past two games and ends the season with three games against teams with losing records and beatable defenses.

Daniel Bellinger, New York Giants

The good news is Bellinger has converted 24 of his 27 targets this year into completions. The bad news is he has had one 40-yard game in 2022 and normally is only good for 15-25 yards per week. If you need a TE in a PPR league, you can hope he wills his way to five catches and possibly a trip to the end zone against Washington.

Tyler Conklin, New York Jets

Conklin has not scored a touchdown or had more than 50 yards in a game in six weeks, but he has been targeted 15 times over his past two games and his next game is home against Detroit, whose pass defense has been at the bottom of the league all season long. If Mike White can find the field after having his ribs, liver, and kidneys pounded by the Buffalo Bills, Conklin could be a sneaky start.

Do Not Forget About…

Hunter Henry, New England Patriots

The jury is out on whether Mac Jones is a good NFL quarterback who can consistently put the ball in the hands of his playmakers like Henry. Until that is firmly established, Henry will be a risky play unless you spot-start him for the perfect matchup. His fantasy stock on waiver wires will go up if he performs well Monday night against the Arizona Cardinals.

Noah Fant, Seattle Seahawks

Fant had 15 receptions for 206 yards and a TD in his four contests leading into the game against the Carolina Panthers. Too bad he laid a goose egg for fantasy managers on Sunday. Worse, both of Seattle’s other tight ends did catch passes. Even worse, now Fant has to face a San Francisco defense on Thursday night that has been stifling anybody and everybody the past month.

Austin Hooper, Tennessee Titans

Hooper averaged five targets per game over the last month-plus and had a season-high 68 yards against Jacksonville this past Sunday. While he has a decent matchup against the L.A. Chargers in Week 15, he has to now split tight end targets with a young teammate who is on the rise named…

Chigoziem Okonkwo, Tennessee Titans

The long-named rookie has burst onto the scene and quickly become a fantasy factor. Over his last three games, he has piled up 13 catches for 148 yards and a score. He is probably a better bet in dynasty leagues than standard leagues because of his long-term fantasy potential.
