Delon Wright Out For 6-8 Weeks
Delon Wright (hamstring) was forced to exit the game Tuesday night against the Detroit Pistons due to a hamstring injury. He officially will now be out six to eight weeks due to a Grade 2 strain of his right hamstring. The 30-year-old was having a productive start to the season for Washington. As a key reserve, he was averaging 6.5 points, 2.5 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 2.8 steals and 1.0 blocks per game. In fantasy terms, Wright was valuable in deeper category leagues, but not much past that. Now that he's out for up to two months, Will Barton, Jordan Goodwin and Johnny Davis could all see some more playing time.
