Fantasy Football Injury Reports for Week 3: Jerry Jeudy, J.K. Dobbins, Alvin Kamara, Gabe Davis, Chris Godwin, Brian Robinson

Jerry Jeudy - Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL Injury News, Draft Sleepers

Fantasy football injury updates and injury reports for RB, WR, TE, QB for Week 3 (2022), as of 9/22, including George Kittle, James Conner, Jerry Jeudy, and Michael Pittman.

Week 3 of the fantasy football season is here, and there are a lot of important NFL injuries to keep track of throughout the week. We are putting out daily injury updates, and today our fantasy football injuries report checks in on several key NFL players as as of September 22nd including Jerry Jeudy, J.K. Dobbins, Alvin Kamara, Gabe Davis, Chris Godwin and Brian Robinson.

The injury statuses for various fantasy football stars are up in the air for Week 3, so knowing exactly where each player stands going into the weekend is crucial. Being up-to-date on NFL injury news can give you an edge over your league mates in fantasy football.

To keep close tabs on all of the news across the NFL, make sure to favorite or bookmark the fantasy football player news page, or download the free RotoBaller fantasy football mobile app with push notification alerts on all the latest news. Let's look at the updates for some wide receivers and see whether they may play in Week 3.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Jerry Jeudy Injury Update

Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy (ribs, shoulder) did not participate in practice on Wednesday as he is dealing with an injury sustained in Week 2. The injury was not believed to be significant after X-rays came back negative earlier in the week.

Fantasy managers should closely monitor Jeudy's status in hopes that he can get in a practice or two ahead of Sunday night's matchup with the San Francisco 49ers. If Jeudy is sidelined, Courtland Sutton will likely see a bump in targets and K.J. Hamler (knee) could be an interesting deep-league flex if active.

J.K. Dobbins Injury Update

Baltimore Ravens running back J.K. Dobbins (knee) was a full participant in practice on Wednesday. Dobbins was able to practice in full all of last week, but the Ravens took the cautious approach and held him out of the Week 2 loss to the Miami Dolphins. The 23-year-old is getting closer to making his season debut after missing all of last year with a torn ACL.

If Dobbins makes his season debut this Sunday against the New England Patriots, there's a chance he could be eased into the fold, making him a risky flex play. In his absence the first two weeks, the Ravens have used a committee approach with Kenyan Drake, Mike Davis and Justice Hill, but it hasn't yielded any fantasy value. Dobbins should eventually be the team's lead back when he's 100 percent healthy.

Alvin Kamara Injury Update

New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara (ribs) was listed as a limited practice participant on Wednesday. Kamara was inactive in the Week 2 loss to the division-rival Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but it's a good sign that he was at least limited in the first practice session this week. The Saints' coaching staff will probably want to see him do more later this week before clearing him to play in Week 3 against the Carolina Panthers, so fantasy managers should consider him questionable for now.

The 27-year-old was a disappointment in Week 1, playing 62 percent of the snaps while carrying just nine times for 39 yards and catching three of four targets for seven yards. In his absence last weekend, Tony Jones Jr. saw 50% of the snaps, with Mark Ingram II seeing 36.8% while leading the team with 10 carries for 60 yards.

Gabe Davis Injury Update

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabe Davis (ankle) was listed as a limited participant at Wednesday's practice after he was held out of the team's Monday night beatdown of the Tennessee Titans in Week 2. The fact that Davis is already back at practice early this week is a good sign that he will be able to return this weekend in a showdown with the 2-0 Miami Dolphins. However, we'll have a better idea about his availability later in the week.

The 23-year-old pass-catcher caught four of his five targets for 88 yards and a touchdown in the season-opener, and he should be returned to all starting lineups if he's back in action in Week 3. If he's out again, Jake Kumerow should see a bigger role on the outside across from Stefon Diggs.

Hunter Renfrow Injury Update

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Hunter Renfrow (concussion) was not seen at practice on Wednesday after suffering a concussion in the Week 2 overtime loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Renfrow looked like his 2021 self last weekend before suffering his head injury, securing seven of his 10 targets for 59 yards on 69 percent of the offensive snaps.

He still has some time to clear the league's concussion protocol, but his fantasy managers should consider him very questionable for the Week 3 contest against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. If Renfrow isn't able to play, Mack Hollins would have some deep-league flex appeal as the No. 3 pass-catcher behind Davante Adams and tight end Darren Waller.

Chris Godwin Injury Update

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin (hamstring) didn't practice on Wednesday. Godwin strained his hamstring in the season opener and didn't play in the Week 2 win over the New Orleans Saints. He's off to a bad start so far this week, but he has two more chances to return to the practice field, which would give him a chance to return this weekend against the Green Bay Packers.

Mike Evans is suspended for one game and Julio Jones (knee), who missed Week 2, is a question mark as well. Tampa's receiving corps continues to be extremely banged up, but Godwin could be heavily targeted by quarterback Tom Brady if he's able to return on Sunday against the Packers. Check back later this week to see how much of a chance Godwin has at suiting up.

Brian Robinson Injury Update

Washington Commanders running back Brian Robinson was seen on the practice field for the first time since being the victim of an attempted armed robbery on August 28th. While he wasn't wearing pads, it was a great sign that the former Alabama running back was already back on the field with his teammates.

He's still likely a few weeks away from seeing game action, but with the agility drills he completed last week along with this appearance, he should be making his return sooner rather than later. Robinson should be stashed on benches in most leagues as a Week 5 return is looking like a possibility.

Devin Duvernay Injury Update

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Devin Duvernay (concussion) missed Wednesday's practice after suffering a concussion in the Week 2 loss to the Miami Dolphins. James Proche II (groin) was a limited participant. Duvernay had four catches for 54 yards and two touchdowns in the season opener, but he caught two passes for 42 yards last weekend before suffering a concussion.

If the 25-year-old doesn't clear the league's concussion protocol in time for Week 3 against the New England Patriots, Demarcus Robinson and Tylan Wallace would fight for targets behind Rashod Bateman and tight end Mark Andrews.

Zach Wilson Injury Update

New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson (knee) is eyeing a return in Week 4. The 23-year-old is expected to ramp up his activities this week. That being said, veteran Joe Flacco is set to make at least one more start for the Jets. He has surprisingly played very well, but is expected to revert to the backup role once Wilson is ready.

Wilson struggled last season, but the Jets aren't going to give up on him that quickly. However, he's still young and learning, which makes him tough to trust in fantasy formats. Wilson can remain on the waiver wire in most formats even when he does eventually return.

Alec Pierce Injury Update

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce (concussion) was able to return to practice on Wednesday. The rookie wideout was unable to play in Week 2 due to a concussion.

His absence gave way for Ashton Dulin to haul in five receptions for 79 yards. The expectation is that Dulin will go back to a rotational role once the Colts get healthy. Pierce is expected to play in Week 3, but remains off the fantasy radar in most formats.
