Luis Severino Exits Wednesday's Start With Shoulder Tightness
Luis Severino (shoulder) was removed from Wednesday's start against the Cincinnati Reds with shoulder tightness. He will undergo an MRI on Thursday. The 28-year-old allowed four runs on four hits and two walks while striking out one across two innings. He surrounded three long balls before exiting with an injury. The Yankees' right-hander is considered day-to-day, and the extent of Severino's injury will be known once the MRI results are in. Severino has been solid this season, posting a 3.45 ERA, 1.07 WHIP, and 95 strikeouts across 86 innings. Stay tuned.
