The Los Angeles Lakers have acquired the 35th overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft from the Magic in exchange for a future second-round choice and cash, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. Orlando will hang onto the Nos. 1 and 32 selections, while acquiring No. 35 gives L.A. a Draft choice Thursday. The Lakers will be looking to add complementary pieces to a roster headlined by LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Russell Westbrook, with first-year head coach Darvin Ham at the helm. Austin Reaves played a significant role for Los Angeles as a rookie last year, with the team hoping to strike similar success this go-round.--Jesse Borek
