Corey Knebel Experiences Shoulder Tightness Saturday
Corey Knebel (shoulder) experienced tightness in his shoulder while warming up during Saturday's game against Arizona Diamondbacks. He will be evaluated on Sunday. The 30-year-old did not enter Saturday's game and is considered day-to-day. Knebel is Philadelphia's primary closer, converting 11-of-14 saves while posting a 3.24 ERA, 1.36 WHIP, and 23 strikeouts over 25 innings in 2022. Seranthony Dominguez or Brad Hand will compete for the closer job if Knebel misses any games. Stay tuned.
