Sam Hartman - QB - Wake Forest
Sam Hartman, if he declares for this season's draft, would be a day three pick, though there have been rumors he could end up in the transfer portal instead. We'll have to see.
Hartman played five seasons at Wake Forest, with his game really blossoming over his final two seasons, when he threw a combined 74 touchdown passes. This year, he threw for 3,421 yards in 11 games.
Now, Hartman's got five seasons in college already, so his age is a bit of a knock when it comes to his NFL stock. But he's been a productive passer, and he's coming off of his most accurate season, completing 63.0% of his passes.
A.T. Perry - WR - Wake Forest
Wake Forest's top receiver this season, A.T. Perry is an intriguing name heading into the draft.
The 6-5 wideout caught 70 passes for 980 yards and 11 touchdowns, and he now has 26 touchdowns over the past two years.
With his size, Perry's a really fascinating prospect. His route running could still use some work, but he should be able to make some big plays because of the advantage he'll usually have in terms of height. Throw up the ball, let him fight for it—that kind of thing.
Kris Abrams-Draine - CB - Missouri
Abrams-Draine won't be heading off to the NFL just yet, as he's decided to stay at Mizzou despite being considered a potential third round pick.
Still, he'll be in the 2024 draft, and his stock could be even higher by then, so make sure you keep an eye on Abrams-Draine. The former wideout understands both sides of the ball, which helps him recognize where the ball's going, allowing him to make some big plays. He had 40 tackles and 13 pass defenses this year, while in 2021 he picked off three passes and had seven pass defenses.
