Who are the top NFL Draft prospects playing in the Frisco Bowl between North Texas and Boise State? Here are the top offensive and defensive players that fantasy football fans should keep an eye on in this college football bowl game.

It's bowl season! If you haven't watched much college football this year, this is your last chance to see all these teams. And if you're an NFL fan, it's a chance to watch some players who could end up playing on Sunday, either next year or in the future.

Today we're looking at the Frisco Bowl, which pits North Texas against Boise State.

Austin Aune - QB - North Texas

I'm not really sure how much NFL interest there's going to be in Aune, but he's planning to declare for the draft following this game.

The weird thing about Aune is that he's a 29-year-old college quarterback. That he's so far down the developmental path makes it tough to really project what an NFL future looks like for him. He could probably come in and be a steady backup, but he's probably too far along to really develop much more.

Aune completed a career-high 56.7% of his passes this season, throwing for 3,309 yards and 32 touchdowns. He was picked off 13 times. Ball security can sometimes be an issue, and this big year of production was a significant change from last season, when he threw just nine touchdowns against nine picks.

KD Davis - LB - North Texas

Davis almost left UNT in the portal last year, but he decided to return for one last go-around in Denton.

Davis is a hard-hitting linebacker who finished with 132 tackles this past season. He only had one sack, a drop from his 4.5 in 2021. Still, he wound up winning Conference USA Defensive Player of the Year this season. As far as an NFL role, Davis is one of the best G5 linebackers and projects to be a solid depth linebacker at the next level. He won't wow you as a pro, but he can make solid plays and contribute to a team.

JL Skinner - S - Boise State

Of all the players in this game, Skinner's getting the most draft attention.

The Broncos' safety has good size and instincts. He's not the world's greatest tackler, but he can make do, and his ball skills help make up for some of that. Skinner picked off four passes this season for Boise State.

Skinner is a top-five safety in this draft class. His physical play makes him someone who can thrive at strong safety in the NFL.
