2024 NFL Strength of Schedule Rankings for All 32 Teams

RotoBaller ranks the 2024 strength of schedule for all 32 NFL teams. Which teams face an easy or difficult slate of opponents in the upcoming 2024 NFL season?

As we head deeper into the month of May, we've already checked off several NFL offseason milestones. Most high-profile free agents have found their 2024 teams, while the NFL Combine and Draft are also in the books.

Though the official 2024 NFL Schedule isn't expected to drop until May 16, we already know who each team will face, we're just not sure of when they'll square off during the regular season. We'll be able to sharpen our 2024 NFL Strength of Schedule Rankings when the official version is released, but we can get a fairly clear picture of which teams face the easiest and most difficult roads in the upcoming campaign.

Below, you'll find our latest 2024 NFL Strength of Schedule Rankings for all 32 franchises based on their opponents' 2023 Win/Loss records and Winning Percentage. The team with the hardest projected 2024 schedule is ranked No. 1 on the list, while the teams with the easiest predicted schedule are at the bottom.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Key Takeaways

The Slippers Are Off, Cinderella: Some of the 2023 season's most surprising upstarts - Cleveland Browns, Green Bay Packers, & Houston Texans - will face serious challenges in duplicating their success of last season, as all three teams fall into our top-five most difficult schedules category for 2024.

'Da Bears Are Back?: The Bears have seriously reloaded their offense during the offseason. Free agent acquisitions Keenan Allen and D'Andre Swift will be joined by rookie stars Caleb Williams and Rome Odunze for a Chicago franchise that will also return D.J. Moore and Cole Kmet. Not only have the Bears added tons of firepower, but they also draw one of the league's softest 2024 schedules on paper.

New Coaches Hit The Ground Running: Many of the NFL's newest head coaches could turn their teams around quickly if our 2024 Strength of Schedule Rankings are an accurate indicator. Raheem Morris (Falcons), Dave Canales (Panthers), Jim Harbaugh (Chargers), and Mike Macdonald (Seahawks) all inherit squads whose 2024 opponents combined to finish well below .500 last season.

Be Patient, This Could Take Awhile: With the departure of Bill Belichick, it's officially a new era in New England. Already stepping into a tough situation with little talent on the roster, new Patriots head coach Jerod Mayo will have his work cut out for him in 2024, as he'll face not only rugged divisional opponents in the Bills, Jets, and Dolphins but also foes from the rising AFC South and tough NFC West.
