2 weeks agoHouston Rockets guard Russell Westbrook (rest) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Atlanta Hawks. It's the front end of a back-to-back set, so it's not surprising to see the Rockets resting Westbrook. James Harden and Eric Gordon will see increased usage without him on the court. Westbrook is expected to play in Thursday's game versus Oklahoma City.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: Jonathan Feigen

2 weeks agoAtlanta Hawks forward Cam Reddish (wrist) is listed as probable for Monday's game against the Denver Nuggets. He missed last game due to a lingering wrist injury. Reddish should be back in action on Monday, but hasn't been a reliable fantasy option. Deandre Bembry will likely see less minutes with Reddish back in the rotation.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: Chris Kirschner

2 weeks agoChicago Bulls forward Lauri Markkanen (ankle) is listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Dallas Mavericks. He didn't participate in shootaround, but continues to be listed as questionable for this contest. Markkanen is going to test his ankle in warm ups and see how it feels. Thaddeus Young will draw the start and make for an interesting streaming option if Markkanen is unable to play.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: K.C. Johnson

2 weeks agoSacramento Kings guard Bogdan Bogdanovic (illness, ankle) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Golden State Warriors. He was listed as doubtful with an ankle issue, but having a flu basically eliminated any chances of him playing. Trevor Ariza should see more minutes coming his way, but he's not much of a fantasy option right now.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: James Ham

2 weeks agoNew Orleans Pelicans guard Jrue Holiday (elbow) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Utah Jazz. He's dealing with a bruised left elbow after falling during Saturday's contest. He played through the issue at the time, but he'll take the night off here. J.J. Redick, E'Twaun Moore, and Nickeil Alexander-Walker should see increased playing time. Redick has the most fantasy value out of that trio.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: New Orleans Pelicans

2 weeks agoGolden State Warriors forward Draymond Green (ankle) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Sacramento Kings. He did not practice on Sunday after suffering a right ankle sprain on Saturday. Head coach Steve Kerr does expect Green to get back out there for Wednesday's contest. Eric Paschall, Omari Spellman and Marquese Chriss should all benefit in the absence of Green. Paschall has the most fantasy value out of the bunch and should be worth looking at in DFS contests.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: Nick Friedell

2 weeks agoGolden State Warriors guard D'Angelo Russell (shoulder) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Sacramento Kings. He was able to go through practice on Sunday, but clearly something isn't right. Russell is listed as day-to-day, so hopefully he'll be able to get out there next game. Ky Bowman and Alec Burks should benefit in the absence of Russell. Both are worth looking at as streaming options or cheap DFS choices for Monday.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: Nick Friedell

2 weeks agoMinnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns (knee) is listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies. He's missed each of the last 10 games, which is the longest stretch of his career. The questionable tag doesn't mean much since he's been listed as that before and remained sidelined. Fantasy owners should check back for an update after shootaround on Tuesday.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: Timberwolves PR

2 weeks agoNew York Knicks forward Marcus Morris (neck) was unable to suit up for Monday's practice. However, he's listed as probable for Tuesday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers. It appears Morris tweaked his neck during Sunday's game, but it doesn't sound like a serious issue. Fantasy owners should check back for another update after Tuesday's shootaround.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: NY Knicks PR

2 weeks agoNew York Knicks guard Elfrid Payton (personal) is listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers. He missed last game due to the birth of his child. There's a good chance that he'll be back in action for Tuesday's game. Dennis Smith Jr. (oblique) is listed as questionable for this game as well. Frank Ntilikina would likely see heavy minutes if Payton is unable to play.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: NY Knicks PR

2 weeks agoNew York Knicks guard Dennis Smith Jr. (oblique) is listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers. He's missed each of the last five games due to an oblique issue. Elfrid Payton (personal) and Frank Ntilikina are in the mix as well, so Smith isn't a reliable fantasy option. Smith is only worth looking at in deep leagues, but he won't be a huge help when he's averaging 16 minutes per game.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: NY Knicks PR

2 weeks agoPhoenix Suns guard Devin Booker totaled his third 40+ point performance of the season as he finished with 40 points, six assists and two rebounds on 13-for-20 shooting from the field and 13-for-14 from the free throw line in Sunday's 121-114 loss to the Grizzlies. The 23-year-old got it going early in the game and managed to account for over a third of the Suns offensive production in the contest, while extending his dominant stretch of 30+ point performances to six consecutive games. Booker has added averages of 6.8 assists and 12.3 field goals made per game during his current dominant stretch on the offensive end, making him a must-start player across all fantasy formats on a nightly basis.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBallerSource: NBA.com

2 weeks agoPhoenix Suns forward Kelly Oubre Jr. recorded his sixth double-double of the season in Sunday's 121-114 loss to the Grizzlies, as he finished with 17 points, 10 rebounds, two assists and one steal on 6-for-18 shooting from the field in 38 minutes of action. The 24-year-old snapped a streak of four consecutive efficient 20+ point performances that included 4.0 made three-pointers per game for the fifth year forward. Oubre Jr. has opened the new year on a high note, with totals of 24.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.3 steals and 2.0 assists per game on 47% shooting from deep through three games. Oubre Jr. has carried over his productive second-half after being traded to the Suns last season, with a career-year as the season approaches its midway point. Oubre Jr. has posted second-round fantasy value in standard 9-cat formats, making the 24-year-old a must-start player moving forward.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBallerSource: NBA.com

2 weeks agoMinnesota Timberwolves shooting guard/small forward Andrew Wiggins returned to the lineup for Sunday’s win over the Cleveland Cavaliers and dropped 15 points on 6-for-19 shooting. Joining him with 15 points was small/power forward Robert Covington, who shot 5-for-13 overall, including 4-for-10 from long range. Wiggins added seven rebounds, four assists and two steals, while Covington continued his hot stretch of production by adding four steals, four rebounds and two assists. So long as Karl-Anthony Towns remains sidelined, both men will see increased roles all over the floor, upping their short-term value. Both get a favorable matchup Tuesday against a Memphis team that is yielding 116.4 points per game, the fourth-highest mark in the league.--Jesse Borek - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

2 weeks agoCleveland Cavaliers center Ante Zizic was thrust into a larger role during Sunday’s loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves as the trio of Kevin Love, Tristan Thompson and Larry Nance Jr. were all sidelined. Zizic played a season-best 25 minutes off the bench and accrued season highs in both scoring and rebounding with 15 points and 12 boards, good for his first double-double of 2019-20. Shooting 6-for-7 from the field overall, there is reason for DFS optimism as it pertains to Zizic should the Cavs remain short-handed when they take on Detroit on Tuesday.--Jesse Borek - RotoBallerSource: ESPN
