2 weeks agoMilwaukee Bucks forward Khris Middleton kept up his great play and filled up the box score in a 123-111 win over the Sacramento Kings. Sans Giannis Antetokounmpo (personal), Middleton put up 28 points, 11 boards, eight assists, four triples, and a steal in 34 minutes. The 28-year-old has posted his highest monthly averages in rebounds and assists in February so far. He's been very consistent over the last two months with no reason to think it won't continue on an excellent Bucks team. Up next for Middleton is a Wednesday battle against a likely playoff-bound Eastern Conference foe, the Indiana Pacers.--Tim Capurso - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

2 weeks agoMinnesota Timberwolves guard D'Angelo Russell (quad) made his debut after being traded from Golden State to Minnesota on Thursday — as he finished with 22 points, five assists and one steal on 7-for-12 shooting from the field and 4-for-5 from three-pointers in Monday's 137-126 loss against the Raptors. The 23-year-old got off to a productive start and made multiple deep three-pointers throughout the contest, while keeping the Timberwolves in the game for the majority of the night. Russell will look to build on the success he enjoyed as a member of the Warriors, where the fifth-year guard put together averages of 23.6 points, 6.2 assists and 3.7 rebounds on 43% shooting from the field and 37% from three-point range through 33 games. Russell should be started across all fantasy formats when the Timberwolves take on the Hornets prior to the All-Star break on Wednesday.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBallerSource: NBA.com

2 weeks agoThe Brooklyn Nets sharpshooting duo of Joe Harris and Taurean Prince combined for seven made threes during Monday’s victory over the Indiana Pacers. Harris finished with 15 points, while Prince totaled 14, as they finished second and third, respectively, on the team in scoring. Both players are on pace to set new career highs in made triples per game, with Prince at 2.5 and Harris at 2.4 on a nightly basis. Harris has been the more efficient of the two from long range during February, having gone 15-for-31 across five contests. The duo close out the first half Wednesday against Toronto, who has allowed the second-lowest opponents three-point percentage (33.8) this season.--Jesse Borek - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

2 weeks agoOrlando Magic wing Evan Fournier shot nine of 17 from the field and three of eight from distance to finish off a win over Atlanta with 22 points. He also added three rebounds and two steals in 32 minutes of action. Fournier has been scorching the nets from beyond the arc recently, posting at least two three-pointers in six consecutive outings. Rarely will he ever contribute in categories not linked to scoring, but Fournier makes up for it by averaging 18.7 points this season, with more than 2.5 three-pointers a game, one of only 17 players in the NBA doing so right now.--Daniel Lubofsky - RotoBallerSource: NBA.com

2 weeks agoIndiana Pacers shooting guard Victor Oladipo was aggressive offensively during Monday’s loss to the Brooklyn Nets, his first game back in action since sitting out the second leg of a back-to-back Saturday. He finished 5-for-14 from the field overall, collecting 12 points to go along with a season-best four rebounds, in addition to three assists. Even having reclaimed his role in the starting five, Oladipo’s minutes stayed capped at 27, as Indiana will likely keep a close eye on his workload Wednesday against Milwaukee. Owners with the luxury of waiting for his increased usage in the second half can feel optimistic as he continues to fire up shots in limited minutes.--Jesse Borek - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

2 weeks agoAtlanta Hawks forward John Collins shot 10 of 14 in a loss to Orlando on his way to 22 points. He also added eight rebounds and two assists. Collins has been on a tear in recent weeks, scoring over 20 points in seven of his last eight outings while averaging 12.5 rebounds per game during that span. It's a shame that a 25-game suspension derailed his -- and Atlanta's -- season because it's this level of play that had some thinking about a potential All-Star nod for Collins in his third season. Averaging career-highs in points and rebounds per game, it'll be interesting to see how Collins meshes alongside newly-acquired center Clint Capela.--Daniel Lubofsky - RotoBallerSource: NBA.com

2 weeks agoBrooklyn Nets center DeAndre Jordan collected his ninth double-double of the season during Monday’s victory over the Indiana Pacers. Jordan was tenacious on the glass, pulling down a game-best 19 rebounds to go along with 11 points and a pair of blocks. Potentially most telling was that he outdrew starter Jarrett Allen in minutes (28 to 20), making him an intriguing play Wednesday as Brooklyn closes out the first half against a Raptors squad that Jordan collected 15 points and 14 boards against Saturday. He enters Wednesday having averaged 10.9 rebounds over his last seven outings.--Jesse Borek - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

2 weeks agoAtlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young shot just seven of 19 versus Orlando on Monday to finish with 29 points. He also had nine assists. Young, who also contributed four turnovers in 33 minutes, shot just three of 11 from beyond the arc but made up for it by converting 12 of 13 from the free-throw line. This game was a bit of a letdown for Young, who hadn't scored fewer than 34 points in any of his previous three outings. That being said, he hasn't slowed down at any point this season with numbers that have him slated to start in the 2020 All-Star Game. Before then, Atlanta still has one more game at Cleveland on Wednesday, where Young will attempt to enter the All-Star break on a high note.--Daniel Lubofsky - RotoBallerSource: NBA.com

2 weeks agoBrooklyn Nets point/shooting guard Spencer Dinwiddie delivered a nearly identical stat line in Monday’s win over the Indiana Pacers as to what he did Saturday against Toronto. Dinwiddie finished with 21 points, 11 assists and six rebounds for the second consecutive contest, although Indiana’s defense corralled him to 4-for-15 shooting from the field overall, including 0-for-7 from behind the arc. His 13-for-15 performance from the free-throw stripe helped him en route to leading the team in scoring. His final game before the All-Star break comes Wednesday against the Raptors, in which he will likely retain his role as the team’s primary scoring threat with Kyrie Irving (knee) still sidelined.--Jesse Borek - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

2 weeks agoOrlando Magic center Nikola Vucevic was phenomenal in a win over the Hawks, nearly amassing a triple-double by compiling 24 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists. Vucevic, who shot 10 of 15, also chipped in four makes from beyond the arc, the second game out of his last three with more than one three-pointer. While not an All-Star after being selected a season ago, Vucevic is still producing like one of the best big men in the game, with season averages of 18.8 points, 10.9 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game. He'll need to keep it going to make sure Orlando secures a second straight playoff berth. Still, after missing some time due to injury, Vucevic has remained one of fantasy basketball's most underrated sources of elite production.--Daniel Lubofsky - RotoBallerSource: NBA.com

2 weeks agoIndiana Pacers power forward/center Domantas Sabonis dominated during Monday’s defeat to the Brooklyn Nets, collecting 23 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds across his 38 minutes, which marks the fourth triple-double compiled in his career. His performance has particularly taken off over the last few weeks, having notched three of those triple-doubles since Jan. 26; his performance Monday marked the third time this year that he has led Indiana in points, rebounds and assists in a single outing. He closes out the first half of his breakout 2019-20 campaign Wednesday when he faces a Bucks squad that he has logged a double-double against in each of this season's prior two meetings.--Jesse Borek - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

2 weeks agoOrlando Magic forward Aaron Gordon shot 10 of 20 in a win over the Hawks on Monday to finish with 26 points. He also added nine rebounds, four assists, and two three-pointers. This was a positive bounce-back outing for Gordon, who was coming off a seven-point dud against Milwaukee in which he shot just two of 12. That poor outing aside, Gordon has strung together double-digit scoring outings in nine of his previous 10 games, with a healthy dose of rebounds and assists. As the Magic hope to hold onto a playoff spot, Gordon's play will be of vital importance to a team that lacks much offensive firepower. He'll get the chance to replicate his most recent outing when the reeling Detroit Pistons make the trip down to Orlando on Wednesday.--Daniel Lubofsky - RotoBallerSource: NBA.com

Both Dario Saric (ankle) and AAron Baynes (hip) have already been ruled out, which means Cheick Diallo will get all the minutes he can handle at center.
