Dern is coming off a decision win over Angela Hill back in May, which served as the main event of a Fight Night card. Dern is just 2-2 in her last four but is a sizeable favorite over Andrade as DraftKings has her at a salary of $9,000 which is the fifth-highest on the card. In her 11 UFC fights, Dern is averaging 83.95 fantasy points per fight as she's finished four of her eight wins by stoppage. However, Dern has gone the distance in five of her last six fights. Aspinall and Pavlovich agreed to this fight on two weeks' notice, so neither man got much of a training camp. The Brit is coming off a 73-second TKO win over Marcin Tybura back in July which was his first fight in a year after he tore his ACL in 15 seconds against Curtis Blaydes. Heading into UFC 295, Aspinall is a slight favorite as DraftKings has him at a salary of $8,200 while in his seven UFC fights, he's averaging 93.65 fantasy points per outing. 6 months agoNicolas Dalby extended his win streak to four as he beat Gabriel Bonfim via knockout at UFC Sao Paolo. He was a sizeable underdog against Bonfim who was undefeated up until that point. Nicolas Dalby pulled off an amazing comeback at UFC Sao Paulo, as he was taken down and dominated in the first round. In the second round, Bonfim took Dalby down again, but this time, Dalby managed to fight his way back up. With less than a minute to go in the round, Dalby appeared to land a knee that sent Bonfim to the canvas. Dalby followed up with a barrage of punches that forced the referee to stop the fight. 6 months agoGabriel Bonfim walked out of the Octagon with his first loss after Saturday's matchup with Nicolas Dalby at UFC Sao Paolo. Brazilian welterweight, Bonfim, was a massive favorite coming into his UFC Sao Paolo bout against Dalby. However, Dalby fought past the odds and secured a second-round knockout over Bonfim. 6 months agoDon'Tale Mayes suffered a unanimous decision loss to Rodrigo Nascimento at UFC Sao Paolo on Saturday. Mayes was last seen in action at June's UFC Vegas 74 event, where he scored a second-round TKO victory over former heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski. Mayes had a few good moments in the third round but it wasn't enough as Nascimento dominated in the first and the second round. In 15 minutes of action, Mayes landed 79 significant strikes. 6 months agoRodrigo Nascimento scored a clear-cut decision over Don'Tale Mayes at UFC Sao Paolo on Saturday. Nascimento, with the Brazilian crowd firmly behind him, started lighting up Mayes with a barrage of strikes. Nascimento continued his dominance in the second round, pinning Mayes against the fence and landing big shots. In 15 minutes of action, Nascimento landed 70 significant strikes. Capturing a decision, Rodrigo Nascimento is now 2-0 against Mayes after submitting him in their first meeting in 2020 at UFC on ESPN 8. With the win, Nascimento's UFC record is 5-1.

6 months agoAbus Magomedov is now 1-2 in the UFC as he suffered his second straight loss at UFC Sao Paulo. Magomedov was coming off a second-round TKO loss to Sean Strickland in July in just his second UFC fight. He ended up stepping up on about a month's notice at UFC Sao Paulo to face Caio Borralho. After a good first round, Magomedov faded badly as he was visibly tired and Borralho took over. The German ended up being outstruck 70-to-39 as he lost a clear-cut decision. With the loss, Magomedov is now 25-6-1 as a pro and could be fighting for his UFC job in his next fight.Source: UFC
6 months agoCaio Borralho improved to 5-0 in the UFC and 15-1 as a pro with a decision win over Abus Magomedov at UFC Sao Paulo. In the first round, Borralho came out southpaw which is not his usual stance and Magomedov had some success, and even was 1-for-1 on takedowns in the round. However, as the fight went on, Magomedov started to tire out and Borralho took over. In the third round, he had Magomedov hurt but couldn't finish him as he tried to sink a submission. Borralho ended up out-landing Magomedov 70-to-39 to win a clear-cut decision.Source: UFC
6 months agoDerrick Lewis is now 1-4 in his last five fights as he lost a lopsided decision to Jailton Almeida in the main event of UFC Sao Paulo on Saturday. Lewis took this fight on a month's notice but he had nothing for Almeida. 'The Black Beast' was taken down six times and was controlled for over 21 minutes out of the 25-minute fight as he lost every single round on all three judges' scorecards. 6 months agoJailton Almeida improved to 20-2 as a pro and 6-0 in the UFC with a one-sided decision win over Derrick Lewis at UFC Sao Paulo. Almeida went 6-of-15 on takedowns in the fight, but when he did get Lewis down, he was able to keep him there. The Brazilian finished the fight with 21:10 of control time in the 25-minute fight. Almeida also outstruck Lewis 120-to-28 as he won every single round on all three judges' scorecards. It wasn't the most exciting fight, but with the win, Almeida could very well get a top-five opponent next time out.Source: UFC
