Justin Turner Exits Friday, Unlikely To Play Saturday
12 months agoBoston Red Sox designated hitter/third baseman Justin Turner (knee) left Friday's tilt with the San Diego Padres early after experiencing left knee soreness. Red Sox skipper Alex Cora said following the game that Turner will "probably" be out of the lineup on Saturday and that he hopes the 38-year-old returns on Sunday. It's a tough break for Turner, who was heating up in May while slashing .318/.385/.544 with three homers and nine RBI in the month. Fantasy managers should monitor this situation throughout the course of the weekend.
