Fantasy Basketball Night In Review: Tuesday, November 16

Welcome to the RotoBaller NBA Recap. In this feature, we will highlight a few key fantasy basketball takeaways from the games played during last night's slate. These viewpoints can be both positive and negative and will hopefully help to provide insight into different roster moves you should consider making based on trends and statistical nuggets from around the Association.

Fantasy basketball has a lot of moving pieces with all the different scoring settings that are possible to play under, so I will always do my best to spotlight where players gain or lose value in certain game types. For the sake of simplicity and consistency, every time I mention Fantasy Points in these articles I will be using DraftKings' scoring system, which goes as follows: 1*PTS, 0.5*3PM, 1.25*RBD, 1.5*AST, 2*STL, 2*BLK, -0.5*TO. On top of that, bonus points are awarded for Double-Doubles (+1.5) and Triple-Doubles (+3), only one per player at a time.

Without further ado, let's get right into the latest slate of games from the 2021 season and try to figure out how to take advantage of what we saw transpire.

Steph Curry's inevitability proves true once more as his lone effort is enough to defeat Brooklyn; Paul George puts on another gem of a game to bring the Clippers back to the W column

Yesterday's matchup between the Brooklyn Nets and the Golden State Warriors was highly anticipated, even more considering the start of the season both squads have had. Too bad for us watching, this thing was over by the start of the fourth quarter after a middling third period by BKN. That doesn't take from Curry's chef-like performance in just 29 minutes, more than enough time to finish as the top play in DK's slate: 37 pops with a season-high 9 treys baked into them, 7 boards, 5 dimes, 2 steals, 1 block... and only 2 turnovers while going 4-for-4 from the free-throw line.

As for the Clippers, which will be playing inside the Crypto.com Arena and not the STAPLES Center starting Dec. 25th along with neighbor Lakers, they escaped defeat against San Antonio and got back to their winning ways with another monster outing by PG13 to the tune of a 34-9-4-2. Speaking of Spurs, though, what about Dejounte Murray!? This man is surely making the leap and fell just one assist short of trip-dubbing for the second time in the past few days with a 26-12-9-3 stuffed line. Youngblood.
