New York Rangers goaltender Igor Shesterkin picked up his first career shutout in Tuesday's 3-0 victory over New Jersey, pushing aside 27 shots. He had to be sharp right from the get-go when the Devils produced 10 shots in the opening frame and became only the second goalie this season to nullify Lindy Ruff's team. Shesterkin took his record for the year to 11-9-3, and he now boasts a 2.35 goals-against average and a .924 save percentage. The Rangers have three more meetings with New Jersey this week, so look for Shesterkin to have a few more winning nights.--Taavi Pailk
