2025 Fantasy Football: Week 2 WR Starts/Sits

Week 2 Fantasy Football Outlooks
Stefon Diggs, New England Patriots
New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs continues to have some fantasy appeal for Week 2 against the Miami Dolphins. Diggs was out-snapped and out-produced by Kayshon Boutte, but the veteran still turned in a solid showing of his own with seven targets, six catches, and 57 yards.
We can expect similar usage and productivity from Diggs this week as he takes on the Dolphins, who were ripped to pieces by the Indianapolis Colts last week. There's still a good chance that Boutte and perhaps even Hunter Henry remain ahead of Diggs in the pecking order, but with a favorable matchup on tap, he can still carve out a fantasy-relevant role. He ranks as a low-end WR3/flex option this week.
Michael Pittman, Indianapolis Colts
Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. (glute) will host the Denver Broncos in Week 2. Pittman was listed on the injury report with a glute issue after Week 1, but he practiced fully all week and has no injury status heading into Sunday. The veteran wideout turned in a solid game in a Week 1 win over the Miami Dolphins, leading the team with 80 receiving yards and a touchdown.
He might have a tougher time getting going against lockdown corner Patrick Surtain II in Week 2, however. Treat Pittman as a flex option, but don't be afraid to leave him on the bench if you have a better option due to the tough matchup.
Chris Olave, New Orleans Saints
Despite heading to the medical tent twice, New Orleans Saints wide receiver Chris Olave led the team with 13 targets, turning them into seven receptions for 54 yards in Sunday's loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Kellen Moore's offense appeared aggressive, as quarterback Spencer Rattler attempted a career-high 46 passes in Week 1.
This bodes well for the fourth-year receiver, who looks poised to become a go-to target in the pass-heavy attack. Olave should have plenty of opportunities to build chemistry with Rattler and, as long as he remains healthy, projects as a borderline WR2/WR3 this week against the San Francisco 49ers.
