Wolves Say Jaden McDaniels Is Starting Individual Work
6 months agoMinnesota Timberwolves forward Jaden McDaniels (ankle), who suffered a Grade 1 right lateral ankle sprain during the first quarter of Nov. 20's eventual 117-100 win over the New York Knicks, was re-evaluated and has been confirmed to be progressing well throughout his rehab program with no setbacks. McDaniels has been cleared to participate in individual on-court player drills and strength training activities. It marks the start of a return-to-play progression for McDaniels, who has now missed two weeks with the injury. While the 23-year-old three-and-D contributor is advancing in his recovery, McDaniels still has some hoops to jump through before a return to game action. Nickeil Alexander-Walker is chipping in 7.3 points, 3.0 assists, 1.4 threes, and 2.1 combined steals and blocks per night in 27.8 minutes covering eight games without McDaniels in 2023-24, so NAW is worth streaming in fantasy if those numbers sound appealing.
