Wendell Carter Jr., Markelle Fultz Still Out Wednesday
5 months agoOrlando Magic center Wendell Carter Jr. (finger) and guard Markelle Fultz (knee) will not play in Wednesday's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Carter was seen getting shots up without his cast last Tuesday, but he's still out with a fractured third metacarpal in his left hand that he sustained in Nov. 2's game. Carter could be on the verge of a return, which could arrive as soon as Friday's game versus the Detroit Pistons. Moritz Wagner and Goga Bitadze should continue to make up a committee at the five with Carter on the shelf for a 16th straight time on Wednesday. There's no shift in the status of Fultz, who remains without a clear timetable for a return due to lingering tendinitis in his surgically repaired left knee. Jalen Suggs and Cole Anthony are must-hold fantasy commodities for the time being, with head coach Jamahl Mosley likely to apply a nightly hot-hand method in divvying up the two shot creators' minutes.
