Tyler Herro Not Returning Against Raptors
5 months agoMiami Heat guard Tyler Herro (ankle) won't travel with the team for Wednesday's game against the Toronto Raptors. Herro's Grade 2 right ankle sprain from Nov. 8 was due for re-evaluation this week, but his being ruled out well in advance of Wednesday's tip-off suggests his return may not exactly be imminent. There's been no word yet from the Heat to indicate that Herro is able to practice in a full capacity, leaving him on the wrong side of questionable for Friday's matchup versus the Cleveland Cavaliers. The 23-year-old scoring machine is putting up a team-best 22.9 points with 4.6 assists, 3.1 three-pointers, and 1.4 steals in 34.0 minutes over eight games this season. The sharpshooting Duncan Robinson is netting 17.3 points and 3.5 threes on 50.0% shooting from beyond the arc during 32.2 minutes across 10 games without Herro this year, but his fantasy value remains restricted to points and threes.
