Suns Optimistic Bradley Beal Could Return Next Week
5 months agoThe Athletic's Shams Charania hears that Phoenix Suns guard Bradley Beal (back) "has started his ramp-up process." Beal, who last played on Nov. 12, is progressing well and is set to be re-evaluated later this week. There is optimism that Beal can return to the lineup sometime in the next 10 days, but Charania notes it's a fluid situation on a championship-contending Suns team. While fantasy managers are hoping Beal gets back as soon as possible, Phoenix is going to stay cautious and make sure they get the 30-year-old scoring machine's lower-back strain completely sorted out, since it's plagued him since the preseason. Beal looked sluggish in his first three games in the desert before heading back on the mend, averaging 17.3 points, 3.7 assists, and 1.7 triples in 28.7 minutes. Swingmen Eric Gordon and Grayson Allen have been good for streaming value in the top-100 neighborhood for fantasy purposes in the interim.
