Hill kicked Pereira low, prompting referee Herb Dean to step in and try to pause the fight, but Pereira declined. A signature left hook from Pereira knocked out Hill. In 3:14 of action, Hill landed 12 significant strikes. The loss was only Hill's second defeat in his career after he fell by submission to Paul Craig back in 2021.

Having secured eight of her previous 17 wins by knockout, Xiaonan was aggressive in the stand-up department and even knocked Weili down. At the end of the first round, it appeared that victory was Zhang's when she had Xiaonan unconscious from a rear-naked chokehold, but Yan was rescued by the bell. After surviving an early guillotine attempt, Tsarukyan edged out a split-decision win by utilizing his superior wrestling and control time. In 15 minutes of action, Tsarukyan landed two takedowns and 49 significant strikes. By defeating Oliveira, Tsarukyan is likely going to face the winner of Islam Makhachev vs. Dustin Poirier.

2 weeks agoCody Brundage suffered a second-round submission loss to Bo Nickal to open the UFC 300 card on Saturday. Brundage was controlled for nearly the entire first round, but in the second round, he came out swinging trying to get a KO. However, Brundage was taken down again, and then gave up his back and was submitted by a rear-naked choke. With the loss, Brundage fell to 4-5 in the UFC and had his two-fight winning streak snapped.
