3 weeks agoWashington Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma (ankle) won't play on Friday versus the Bulls. He'll now miss a fourth consecutive contest, and with the Wizards down to two games left in the 2023-24 campaign, his season is likely over. With Tyus Jones (back) out and Jordan Poole (illness) questionable, Deni Advija and Corey Kispert may be the go-to offensive options for the Wizards on Friday night. There would also be room for Anthony Gill and Patrick Baldwin Jr. to get more involved, with the duo combining for 30 points in Tuesday's loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves.Source: NBA Injury Report
3 weeks agoGolden State Warriors guard/forward Gary Payton II (calf) won't be in the lineup on Thursday against Portland. After being a late addition to the injury report, Payton II hasn't been able to get rid of tightness in his left calf to be available to play. Draymond Green (knee) and Klay Thompson (knee) are also on the shelf on Thursday, leaving Golden State a bit shorthanded. However, the team should still have enough quality to take care of business against a struggling Portland squad. There are more minutes available for Chris Paul, Jonathan Kuminga, Brandin Podziemski, and Moses Moody. Paul and Kuminga will join the starting five for the clash.Source: Sam Gordon
3 weeks agoMemphis Grizzlies forward Brandon Clarke (hand) has been ruled out for Friday's contest against the Los Angeles Lakers. He missed the previous game due to left Achilles injury management, but the injury report shows Clarke is dealing with a hand injury now. The 27-year-old has spent a large majority of the season recovering from last year's Achilles tear and has only played in six games since returning to action on March 27. It is great for Grizzlies fans to see their talented big man back on the court looking healthy, as he has averaged over 11 points per game while playing over 20 minutes in all six games. While he is out, expect Trey Jemison to lead the frontcourt.Source: NBA Injury Report
3 weeks agoNew Orleans Pelicans guard/forward Naji Marshall (shoulder) will be welcomed back into the lineup on Thursday versus Sacramento. He's recovered from a shoulder problem that kept him sidelined for a couple of games. Marshall is typically one of the first guys off the bench, and New Orleans is going to need his presence in a situation where Brandon Ingram (knee) remains absent and Larry Nance Jr. (personal) can't play. However, Marshall isn't a very attractive piece fantasy-wise. He's averaging 7.1 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 2.0 assists in 19.3 minutes for the season.Source: New Orleans Pelicans
3 weeks agoToronto Raptors guard/forward Bruce Brown (knee) is considered questionable for Friday's game against Miami. He's seen action just twice in the past five games and could be out again due to inflammation in his right knee. Javon Freeman-Liberty, Gradey Dick, and Ochai Agbaji could potentially benefit from Brown's absence on Friday. However, it's an ugly fantasy matchup for the Raptors, as Miami boasts the fifth-best defensive rating in the league and is ranked 29th in pace.Source: NBA Injury Report
3 weeks agoToronto Raptors guard/forward Gary Trent Jr. (back) is listed as questionable on the injury report ahead of Friday's encounter with Miami. He also carried the designation on Wednesday due to back spasms prior to a meeting with Brooklyn, and Trent Jr. ended up missing the game. The Raptors have nothing left to play for, which could be affecting the team's lineup choices for the final few regular-season games. Youngsters Gradey Dick and Ochai Agbaji have gotten a lot of burn in recent times to aid their development, and they should be in big roles again on Friday if the team can't get any of its injured guys back.Source: NBA Injury Report
3 weeks agoDenver Nuggets guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (shoulder) is anticipated to play in Friday's game in San Antonio. KCP has played as well as expected during the 2023-24 campaign, averaging 10.1 points and shooting 40.7% from behind the arc. He also hasn't missed much time, so the shoulder injury shouldn't keep him off the floor versus the Spurs. Unfortunately, Caldwell-Pope scored only four points in each of his previous two games against San Antonio, so DFS managers should think twice before putting him in their lineups.Source: NBA Injury Report
3 weeks agoMemphis Grizzlies forward Santi Aldama (foot) will not play in Friday's contest versus the Los Angeles Lakers. He will miss his sixth straight game because of a right foot strain. Aldama last took the court on April 1 against the Detroit Pistons. The Grizzlies are not in playoff contention, so there is no need to rush Aldama back onto the court. Memphis will continue to finish the season with a depleted roster. Brandon Clarke (hand) is also out for Friday's game, so expect Trey Jemison to lead the frontcourt again after playing 36 minutes last game.Source: NBA Injury Report
3 weeks agoMiami Heat guard/forward Duncan Robinson (back) has been ruled out for a third consecutive game as the team gets ready to battle the Raptors on Friday. Robinson recently aggravated a back issue, which kept him sidelined for five games near the end of last month. Luckily for the Heat, Tyler Herro is back in the fold, and Delon Wright and Patty Mills have provided some good cover on the backcourt. Following Friday, Miami completes the regular-season slate on Sunday with a rematch against Toronto. It wouldn't be surprising to see the team save Robinson for next week's play-in tournament.Source: NBA Injury Report
3 weeks agoDenver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon (foot) is probable ahead of Friday's showdown with the Spurs. The veteran has been bothered by a strained right foot for weeks. While the ailment cost him a few games, he was on the floor in Wednesday's much-needed win over the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Nuggets are looking to close out the 2023-24 campaign in decisive fashion heading toward the postseason, so Gordon and company all deserve consideration for any DFS contest on Friday night.Source: NBA Injury Report
3 weeks agoMiami Heat point guard Terry Rozier (neck) is considered questionable for Friday's game against Toronto. He could be sidelined for a third consecutive game as Rozier is struggling with neck spasms. Rozier's absence has given a pair of starts to Caleb Martin, who's produced 10.7 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 2.6 assists on average in the first unit over the course of the season. It has also meant extra usage for Tyler Herro, particularly with Duncan Robinson (back) joining Rozier on the sidelines. Herro has been Miami's top scorer in back-to-back games, firing off a whopping 40 shots.Source: NBA Injury Report
3 weeks agoDenver Nuggets forward Michael Porter Jr. (quadriceps) is probable ahead of Friday's matchup with the Spurs. The 25-year-old has only missed one game this season, and with the Nuggets looking to finish atop the Western Conference, he should be on the floor versus San Antonio. Porter has averaged 17.7 points and 10.0 rebounds in three meets against the Spurs during the 2023-24 campaign, making him an ideal option for all DFS contests.Source: NBA Injury Report
3 weeks agoWashington Wizards guard Jordan Poole (illness) is considered questionable for Friday's contest against the Chicago Bulls. The 24-year-old is currently under the weather with a non-COVID illness and could end up sitting out. Poole has been very productive recently, so his potential absence for fantasy managers would come at an unfortunate time. If he sits out, Jared Butler and Johnny Davis will likely be given more playing time.Source: NBA Injury Report
3 weeks agoDenver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray (knee) is probable for Friday's game in San Antonio. He's appeared on the injury report since returning from a seven-game layoff. However, the 27-year-old was available for the Nuggets' previous three contests, most recently amassing 20 points and six assists while going 4-for-6 from deep in Wednesday's much-needed win over the Minnesota Timberwolves. Denver needs another victory, so Murray should be ready to produce, keeping him on the radar for DFS managers.Source: NBA Injury Report
3 weeks agoAccording to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Minnesota Timberwolves forward/center Karl-Anthony Towns (knee) is expected to return to the lineup on Friday versus Atlanta. He's officially regarded as questionable for the game after sitting out over a month of action following meniscus surgery on his left knee. Towns is set to return in a good matchup against a team that struggles to contain opposing big men, but his workload will likely be closely monitored as the playoffs are just around the corner. Naz Reid's playing time will take a major hit with Towns' return. However, he's been one of the best bench guys in the league and will still carry a good amount of fantasy value.Source: Adrian Wojnarowski
