4 months agoSan Francisco Giants outfielder Michael Conforto (heel) could not return to Sunday's lineup for the series finale with the Baltimore Orioles. The 30-year-old has now accumulated four consecutive absences from the lineup, but it's worth mentioning he was able to pinch-hit on Friday. Conforto will have a day off in between Sunday's contest and Tuesday's series opener against the Colorado Rockies to get back on the field. The former All-Star was on a tear before the setback, hitting .393 with a 1.148 OPS to go with six homers and 16 RBI across his previous 16 games started.--Joseph Barbati - RotoBaller
