Kevin Durant Sitting Out Against Kings
5 months agoPhoenix Suns head coach Frank Vogel says forward Kevin Durant (ankle) is out on Friday versus the Sacramento Kings. Durant picked up the right ankle injury late in Tuesday's 106-103 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers, appearing to come up gimpy at times before closing out the game with 31 points, four treys, and seven boards in 39 minutes. There's no indication that it's a significant issue at this point, with Durant's next chance to suit up coming on Tuesday against his former Golden State Warriors team. The 35-year-old MVP candidate is averaging 31.0 points, 5.7 assists, 2.3 threes, and 1.2 swipes during 19 games in the desert this year. Devin Booker should garner heavy DFS rostership without KD and Bradley Beal (back) in a showdown with the Kings, while some combination of Josh Okogie, Keita Bates-Diop, and Nassir Little figure to help cobble together the rest of Phoenix's rotation.
