Justin Turner Smacks Fourth Homer Of The Season
12 months agoBoston Red Sox designated hitter/third baseman Justin Turner went 2-for-5 with a home run and two RBI in a triumph over the Seattle Mariners on Tuesday. The 38-year-old carries on a very workmanlike season as Boston's everyday three-hole hitter. He hasn't run particularly hot any at point this year, but Turner hasn't witnessed his on-base percentage dip below .326 at all. The two-time all-star's propensity for simply getting aboard prevents him from being rostered in more 5x5 roto leagues, but he's still slashing a fairly staunch .269/.365/.400 with 16 RBI and two swipes on the campaign. Turner should remain a staple of the top-five Red Sox offense in terms of runs produced.
