Jrue Holiday, Derrick White Both Good To Go Tuesday
5 months agoBoston Celtics guards Jrue Holiday (ankle) and Derrick White (illness) have both been upgraded to available for Tuesday's In-Season Tournament game versus the Chicago Bulls. Holiday needed to miss Boston's prior two contests due to a right ankle sprain, and his return should leave fewer minutes available off the bench for the likes of Sam Hauser and Payton Pritchard. The 33-year-old two-time All-Star has had a tough time assimilating in head coach Joe Mazzulla's system so far, barely returning top-100 9-category fantasy value with 12.3 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 1.0 blocks per game. Holiday should still be returned to all season-long lineups. White joined the team's shootaround on Tuesday morning, so his illness wasn't expected to cost him this matchup. The 29-year-old defensive stud, averaging 13.9 points, 5.0 assists, and 1.9 combined steals and blocks, could pick up more usage in the void of Kristaps Porzingis (calf).
