New York Giants wide receiver Parris Campbell has flashed blazing speed and upside in spurts during his four-year career with the Indianapolis Colts, but he's missed a ton of games with injuries and hasn't made a consistent impact since being selected in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
However, he'll get a fresh start with the G-Men in a thin wide receiver room and has the versatility to play all over the field -- even at running back. Campbell handled 23 rushing attempts in college and 11 carries so far in the NFL.

Parris Campbell Career Review
In four seasons with the Colts, Campbell played in just 32 games, catching 97 passes for 983 yards and five touchdowns. 2022 was his first year in which he played in more than seven games and the Ohio State product caught 63 passes for 623 yards and three touchdowns in a mediocre offense led by Matt Ryan.
He has yet to post an impressive season, but he was finally healthy last year and looked to be at least a serviceable wideout.
Parris Campbell 2023 Fantasy Football Outlook
According to Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News, Campbell got some work as a running back during the team's mandatory minicamp this week with Saquon Barkley holding out. Campbell took some handoffs on a delay and jet sweep and even ran as the pitch man on an option during a play in practice.
While it's an interesting development and could give his fantasy stock a slight boost, it's important not to overact to the news. A couple of carries could mean a few more fantasy points, but there are very few cases where it's a huge factor -- like a Deebo Samuel situation.
Ultimately, Campbell is in a mediocre WR room, but it is crowded. He'll compete with Isaiah Hodgins, Darius Slayton, Sterling Shepard, Wan'Dale Robinson, and rookie Jalin Hyatt for snaps, but Darren Waller should operate as the team's No. 1 target. Campbell could be an intriguing best ball option at his cheap price (WR94 ADP), but there's a low chance he's worth rostering in traditional 12-team leagues.
