The NFL Playoffs are underway. With most teams watching football from their couches this week, the injury report is fairly light.
However, we still had some players leave their games due to injuries. Unfortunately for the Green Bay Packers, they had several players go down, and it certainly hurt their chances against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Jayden Reed - WR, Green Bay Packers
The first of several Packers injuries to report. Green Bay already entered yesterday’s game short-handed at wide receiver as Christian Watson was lost for the season with a torn ACL. Sophomore receiver Jayden Reed led the team with 46 receiving yards yesterday, but he was forced to leave the game with a shoulder injury.

The Green Bay offense had struggled to consistently move the ball all game against Philadelphia’s stout defense. Losing Reed certainly didn’t help matters. We have not received any updates on the severity of this injury, but we should get one relatively soon. With Green Bay’s season officially over, whatever is ailing him shouldn’t impact his 2025 status.
Reed was a frustrating player for fantasy gamers in 2024. He started off the season white hot and looked to be amid a true second-year breakout. However, he fizzled out in the second half of the year. Reed remains a very talented player, but his role in Green Bay’s offense will be a point of contention again in 2025.
Romeo Doubs - WR, Green Bay Packers
Doubs left yesterday’s loss to the Philadelphia Eagles with a head injury.

This was a scary scene as Doubs was down for several moments while being attended to by trainers. He would eventually walk off the field but appeared very woozy. We haven’t received official word yet, but it appears very likely that Doubs suffered a concussion. This would be his second concussion of the season, and while it shouldn’t affect his 2025 status, it is something to monitor.
The Packers' receiving core was just decimated in this one. By the end of the game, Green Bay was down their top three wide receivers. It’s hard to beat a team like the Philadelphia Eagles when you’re that hamstrung on offense.
However, even when both Reed and Doubs were on the field, the offense still struggled. Perhaps head coach Matt LaFleur will reconsider his wide receiver by committee approach for 2025, and the team will add a true go-to WR1 in the offseason.
Jalen Hurts - QB, Philadelphia Eagles
The Eagles QB1 briefly left Sunday’s victory over the Green Bay Packers to be evaluated for an injury. There was some initial concern for Hurts as this was his first game in three weeks while recovering from a concussion.
Luckily for Philadelphia, Hurts would return to the game and the Eagles would pick up a 22-10 victory. The fifth-year pro should be fine for the divisional round of the playoffs but keep an eye on the RotoBaller newsfeed for any changes to his status.
Josh Jacobs - RB, Green Bay Packers
Jacobs was the entire Green Bay offense yesterday. He totaled 121 scrimmage yards, scored a touchdown on the ground, and had one of the best runs of the entire season.

Unfortunately, he would suffer an injury later in the game and was seen walking with a noticeable limp on the sidelines. We haven’t heard much about the severity of this injury, but it shouldn’t impact him in 2025.
Jacobs enjoyed a fine first season in Green Bay, but his performance in the playoffs wasn’t enough to propel the Packers past the first round of the playoffs. Barring something unforeseen, he will once again be Green Bay’s bell-cow back next year.
Ray Davis - RB, Buffalo Bills
The rookie back suffered a concussion in Buffalo’s 31-7 victory yesterday over the Denver Broncos.

Davis would quickly be ruled out for the game. It was a tough break for Davis as he was injured on a nasty-looking hit. He will likely miss the divisional round of the playoffs but could return for the AFC championship game assuming the Bills advance and he clears concussion protocol.
Ben Sinnott - TE, Washington Commanders
Sinnott briefly left last night's victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a shoulder injury.

Washington's rookie tight end would eventually be cleared for action and returned to the game. He has not been heavily involved in the offense this year and has been the clear TE2 behind starter Zach Ertz. Sinnott will not be a recommended DFS or fantasy option for the Divisional Round of the playoffs.
