Tyler Herro Ditches Walking Boot
1 week agoThe Miami Heat confirmed on Monday that guard Tyler Herro (ankle) is out of his walking boot. Herro suffered a Grade 2 ankle sprain early in Nov. 8's game against the Memphis Grizzlies and the Heat later announced that they would re-evaluate him in a few weeks. The 23-year-old combo guard sustained a nasty-looking roll on his right ankle on the foot of Jaren Jackson Jr. in that one, so fantasy managers should be pleased to hear that he's progressing well so far. An obvious must-stash, Herro is rolling with third-round value as Miami's scoring leader this season on potent averages of 22.9 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.6 dimes, 3.1 treys, and 1.4 swipes in 34.0 minutes over eight games. Catch-and-shoot man Duncan Robinson should continue to start for head coach Erik Spoelstra in the interim, averaging 17.8 points, 3.7 assists, and 3.5 threes in 35.4 minutes over his last six games.
