Trevor Story Cranks Homer In First Rehab Game
9 months agoBoston Red Sox infielder Trevor Story (elbow) crushed a three-run home run in his rehab debut appearance at Double-A Portland on Friday. The 30-year-old ended up seeing five innings of action defensively at shortstop. Story is scheduled to function as the designated hitter on Saturday before getting another turn at short on Sunday. There is a 20-day window for Story's assignment, but fantasy managers are running low on time to make sure the two-time Silver Slugger isn't floating around waiver wires at this stage. He is still available in over half of Yahoo leagues.
