Spencer Dinwiddie 2018-19 Player Outlook
6 years agoBrooklyn Nets guard Spencer Dinwiddie was one of the league’s biggest surprises last season, averaging 12.6 points and 6.6 assists per game while starting 58 games for the Nets. The problem? Dinwiddie’s shooting percentages tanked a lot of his value from a fantasy perspective as he shot just 38.7 percent from the field. Dinwiddie is a great value pick on the right fantasy roster, but his struggles from the floor can’t be ignored. There’s also the issue of a potential trade, as there have been reports of teams inquiring about Dinwiddie, who will be a free agent after the upcoming season. Still, Dinwiddie’s raw numbers will make him a useful fantasy option, and a possible deadline deal shouldn’t scare owners during their drafts.
