Sonny Gray Aims To Continue Dominance Versus Tigers
11 months agoMinnesota Twins starting pitcher Sonny Gray takes the mound for the first game of a four-game set with the Detroit Tigers on Thursday. The 33-year-old is marked third in the AL with a delightful 2.25 ERA, allowing two runs or fewer in 10-of-13 starts this year. Gray holds a 3-0 record with a 1.30 ERA and 31 strikeouts in 27 2/3 innings versus Detroit since 2017. The two-time All-Star seeks to expand on his AL-best 2.43 FIP and MLB-best 0.1 home runs per nine innings in this one. Gray obviously projects as a premier pitching option across all fantasy formats and may be worth the premium DFS cost on Thursday.
