Mike Conley Resting Against Hornets
3 months agoThe Minnesota Timberwolves are listing guard Mike Conley (rest) as out for Monday's contest versus the Charlotte Hornets. Conley last sat out on Jan. 10 against the Boston Celtics for rest purposes as well, and Minnesota is opting to keep the veteran floor general out against a 9-31 Hornets team. The T-Wolves have another cushy draw on tap for Wednesday when they meet the 7-35 Washington Wizards in D.C., but fantasy managers should still expect Conley back for that one. Three-and-D swingman Nickeil Alexander-Walker drew the spot start at the point when Conley was last out, supplying a full stat line with 15 points, four rebounds, three assists, three triples, one steal, and one block in a season-high 40 minutes during that Jan. 10 meeting. Jordan McLaughlin is also in line for an uptick in minutes from Minny's second unit.
