LaMonte Wade Jr. Dealing With Back Problem
9 months agoSan Francisco Giants first baseman LaMonte Wade Jr. (back) was out of Friday's lineup versus the Boston Red Sox due to back tightness. It leaves the 29-year-old questionable for Saturday's meeting. With Boston throwing left-handed pitcher James Paxton for that one, however, it's fair to believe Wade could start on the bench anyway. The righty-mashing Wade is hitting just .214 with a .601 OPS in 56 at-bats against lefties this year. Fantasy managers will have to check back closer to Saturday's game time for another update. Wade owns just one RBI over 68 ABs overall since June 19.
