Kristaps Porzingis Sitting Out Against Warriors
5 months agoBoston Celtics center Kristaps Porzingis (calf) will not play on Tuesday against the Golden State Warriors. It's being labeled as injury management for Porzingis, who missed four games between Nov. 26 and Dec. 4 due to a left calf strain. Tuesday's rematch of the 2022 NBA Finals is the first part of a back-to-back for Boston, so it's fair to expect Porzingis to make his way back into the lineup on Wednesday against the Sacramento Kings. Maintenance days are an aspect fantasy managers signed up for when they spent an early-round pick this past fall on the Latvian All-Star, who is acclimating to life in Beantown quite well with averages of 18.9 points, 6.8 rebounds, 1.7 three-pointers, and 1.6 blocks after an offseason trade. Al Horford is a fine streamer and chalky DFS play against the Dubs, averaging 11.6 points, 9.0 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 2.6 blocks, and 2.0 threes in 30.9 minutes over five games without KP this year.
