Knicks Holding Out OG Anunoby Monday
2 months agoNew York Knicks forward OG Anunoby (elbow) won't play in Monday's game against the Golden State Warriors. Anunoby played in New York's past three contests following a month and a half on the shelf due to surgery on his right elbow, and the Knicks will give the three-and-D wing the night off after he struggled to shoot the ball (1-for-8) in Saturday's win over the Sacramento Kings. Expect Anunoby to return in Thursday's showdown with the defending-champion Denver Nuggets for the final outing of the team's four-game West Coast road trip. Over 18 games in the Big Apple without Anunoby this season, Precious Achiuwa is averaging 12.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 1.8 blocks, and 1.1 steals and makes for a strong plug-and-play fantasy option as the most likely candidate to join the starting five against a middling Dubs defense.
