Jose Altuve Fills Box Score With Four Hits, Swipe
11 months agoHouston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve went a perfect 4-for-4 with a home run, two doubles and a stolen base in the club's 10-3 loss to the Cincinnati Reds on Saturday. The 33-year-old had a busy day in this one, amassing nine total bases. It was Altuve's first four-hit attack since Aug. 3 of last season. The perennial All-Star is now slashing a well-balanced .278/.374/.481 with three homers, eight RBI, and four pilfers. Fantasy managers hope this effort gets Altuve in a groove after a quiet 7-for-44 period with just one RBI across his prior 11 outings.
