Frankie Montas Recently Shut Down For A Brief Period
10 months agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Frankie Montas (shoulder) required a brief throwing shutdown recently after experiencing soreness in his right shoulder. The 30-year-old has been shelved all season following right shoulder surgery stemming from inflammation last fall. While playing catch and throwing is certainly a step in the right direction on his long recovery road, Montas is still yet to toss off a mound. With his return unlikely until September, fantasy managers should probably not be expecting much fantasy relevance out of the right-hander in 2023.
