Doug McDermott Out With Forearm Contusion
4 months agoSan Antonio Spurs forward Doug McDermott (forearm) is out for Thursday's game versus the Milwaukee Bucks. McDermott is dealing with a right forearm contusion, which should leave him day-to-day ahead of Sunday's action on the road against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The 31-year-old marksman is one of the best shooters in the Association, as evidenced by a career-high 44.2% success rate over his 3.6 attempts from long range per game this season, but McDermott's poor defense has yet to allow him to exceed 24 minutes played in any of his 31 appearances. Julian Champagnie and Cedi Osman should absorb a bit more playing time on Thursday's small two-game slate, but it likely won't be enough for a huge impact in fantasy hoops.
