Chris Paul Aiming To Start In Golden State
10 months agoGolden State Warriors guard Chris Paul is looking to function as a starter next season. Sam Amick of The Athletic reports that "it's quite clear that Paul is holding out some hope that there's a way for him to start". Amick also alludes to the notion of a small-ball lineup with Paul operating alongside Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. Paul has started in all 1,214 games of his decorated career. It's fair to envision the 12-time All-Star handling a similar allotment of nightly minutes whether he starts or comes off the bench. Paul's shooting efficiency and assist upside figure to be rather strong any time he gets to play in lineups with Curry and Thompson.
