C.J. Cron Crosses The Plate Twice In Win
10 months agoColorado Rockies first baseman C.J. Cron ended 1-for-3 with a walk and two runs scored in Friday's 8-5 victory versus the Detroit Tigers. Thus far, the 33-year-old is logging a career-low .700 OPS over 149 at-bats in 2023. It's a bit concerning considering Cron's 2022 All-Star first half was followed up by a dreadful second-half swoon, hitting a mere .196 with a .593 OPS across his final 220 ABs of last season. In any event, the slugger is a modest 4-for-13 since recently coming off the injured list after a month-long bout with back spasms.
